End of September Update

Greetings, Parents!
What a great turn-out at Open House! It was so nice to see all of you, and your children LOVED showing you all of their hard work!
-If you did not yet sign up for a conference on November 10th or 11th, please stop by or e-mail us for availability. We look forward to discussing your child's progress with you.
-If you still need to send in rest time blankets and pillows, please do so next week.
-If you are planning to chaperone our field trip on Monday, please let us know via e-mail. You may ride the bus with us, follow in your car, or meet us there.
-Reminder: please make sure that checks for Kindergarten Snack are made out to your child's classroom teacher!
-The weather is beginning to turn cooler, please send in layers for your child. It is a great idea to put your child's name in any clothing they may take off. It makes it much easier to find lost items if they are labeled.
-There has been a lot of concern about children not eating all of their lunch. This is always an issue as children are often distracted, not hungry, or just a bit slow. Our suggestion is that you make sure your child not only has a nutritious breakfast before school, but that they are provided a healthy snack right after school.
Have a great weekend!

Rainy Day Reminders

Hello Parents!
Your children have brought us sunshine despite the dark weather this week! Here are some reminders as we go forward:
-On P.E. days, (next week Tuesday, 9/13 for Ms. Eriksson's class, and Thursday, 9/15 for Mrs. Dias' class) please make sure your child is wearing sneakers, or has sneakers to put on.
-Please return yellow envelopes each day. They do not need to be signed.
-Please make sure you send in a note to let us know whether you will pick up your child or they will be taking the bus.
-We are starting to learn about patterns, shapes, colors, and butterflies.
-Please return your child's book treasure container after you enjoy their re-telling of The Kissing Hand!
