The leaves are falling and the days are getting colder...fall is here!!!
We have been learning about all of the shapes, colors, fruits and vegetables that go along with this time of year. Ask your child what they know about the season!
Below are some reminders and announcements for your Kindergartener:
- Book Orders. These have gone home in your child's backpack. Please return/ order by November 30th. Our classroom gets a free book if you order online! Just go to: www.scholastic.com and search for your child's teacher to place your order. If you prefer to send in your order with a check, we can send it in for you after November 30th.
- If you have not yet signed up for a conference, please do so with your child's teacher. We are happy to accommodate you if need to schedule a special time.
- Halloween. On Monday, October 31st, we will be having a Halloween Parade in the gym around 2pm. Please send in a costume for your child- do not have them wear it all day. The costume should not include weapons or be too scary. You are welcome to come and take pictures of your child as well as join us after the parade for a quick Halloween celebration before dismissal.
